The De Aan-Zicht Lifestyle Centre will be a vibrant, mixed-use facility situated within the De Aan-Zicht Lifestyle Estate in Cape Town. This development will integrate a Montessori school, restaurant, gym and wellness centre, and 22 residential apartments. The Lifestyle Centre is pursuing a 6-Star Green Star SA New Build v2 certification, positioning it as one of the first ten pilot projects to adopt and test this next-generation tool. This reflects a commitment to World Leadership in sustainable design and innovation.  A range of high-performance sustainable strategies will be implemented, including on-site solar power generation, low-flow and flush fixtures to reduce potable water consumption, an on-site blackwater treatment system with treated water reused for irrigation and toilet flushing, and a stormwater attenuation pond. In addition, the development is designed with wellbeing and human-centred principles in mind.

Key features include enhanced indoor air quality with increased fresh air rates, optimised daylight levels, and a strong emphasis on active spaces, including a gym, visible staircases, a swimming pool, soccer field, and pedestrian pathways. All internally applied products will be carefully selected for their low toxicity and low volatile organic compound (VOC)
emissions, contributing to healthier interior environment.

The Lifestyle Centre is adjacent to the Welbeloond Conservation Area, with planned dedicated walking routes and viewpoints that will foster a deep connection to nature. Landscaped areas have been planted with indigenous and regenerative species, reinforcing local biodiversity and ecological health.
